Harefield Hospital Television is a registered charity established in 1986 with the aim of providing an entertaining and informative television for patients, visitors, and staff. We are a small group of very dedicated volunteers, giving up our weekends and a couple of evenings a week to run the service.
In 1991 we started installing a cable distribution system which we hope will eventually cover the entire hospital. The present service consists of BBC1, BBC2, ITV, and Channel 4, plus several satellite channels and HOSFAX, our in-vision Information Service. The Hospital Channel is a closed circuit network for the hospital, dedicated to providing programmesof particular interest to everyone at Harefield, whether patient or staff. |
